Analysis of CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2023 Science Paper
The Science question paper 2023 comprised five sections A, B, C, D and E. There were 36 questions in the question paper and all questions were compulsory.
In Section–A, 20 questions were provided for one mark each. These questions contained multiple choice questions (MCQs), very short answer questions and assertion – reason type questions.
Section–B comprised 6 short answer type questions, carrying 2 marks each.
Section–C comprised 7 short answer type questions, carrying 3 marks each.
In Section–D, 3 long answer type questions were given carrying 5 marks each.
In Section–E, 3 source based/case based units of assessment were given carrying 4 marks each with sub-parts.
There was no overall choice. However, internal choices were provided in some questions.
