The paper was of 80 marks divided into two sections.

Section A was a compulsory section carrying 40 marks. It included 2 questions. Question 1 was MCQ based comprising 15 MCQs of 1 mark each (total 15 marks). Question 2 was of 25 marks with sub parts.

Section B was optional in which students had to attempt any four questions out of six.

Importance of Biology Paper in Board Exams

Biology is the easiest among all the three science subjects taught. So, it is an opportunity for students to get a good average in Science by scoring good marks in Biology. In the marking system, the three science subjects are included in one broad category-science. The marks for these subjects are not calculated separately but the average of the three science papers is taken as the marks for Science.
