CBSE Class 10th Board Result 2020 Updates: CBSE Class 10 board result 2020 was announced today i.e. on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 on the official website of the CBSE, cbse.nic.in. The pass percentage for CBSE Class 10 Result 2020 is 91.46%. A total of 18,73,015 students from 20387 schools have appeared in CBSE Class 10 2020 Board Examinations. 17,13,121 students have passed which account for 0.36% increase in pass percentage as compared to 2019. 1,50,198 students were placed in compartment.

  • there has been an increase in pass percentage by 0.36%.
  • Girls have done better than boys by 3.17%

Students’ Reaction on CBSE Class 10 Exam Result 2020


The year 2020 has been very tough for all the Board exam aspirants. Students have gone through a lot of stress and anxiety due to the outbreak of the coronavirus in the country followed by the nation-wide lockdown. 
Finally, they can breathe a sigh of relief as the CBSE Class 10 Board result 2020 has been very good. The overall pass percentage went up by 0.36%. CBSE Class 12 results 2020 showed an increase in pass percentage by 5.38% to a record 88.78%.

Here are the emotions of some of the students on their CBSE Class 10 Board Results 2020.




Khushi Choudhary from Shri Shiksha Yatan School has obtained 97% in CBSE Class 10 Board exam with 95 in Mathematics. She said, “I am really happy the way my hard work paid off. However, my high score does not make a great deal of difference because for me knowledge is always greater than marks and I would like to thank my teachers with all my heart.” Talking about her study strategy Khushi said, “My mother always used to say – understand the concept and practice itna karo ki sum karte waqt pen apne aap chale. This is my mantra for maths – practice the concept until you can’t make a mistake anymore.”

Jaspreet Kaur, Another class student of Shri Shiksha Yatan school scored 93% in CBSE Class 10 Board exam 2020. She has scored 83 in Mathematics. Jaspreet said, “I am feeling very happy about my result. During exams, I solved 10 years’ sample papers so that I get an idea about the types of questions that may come in the exam and avoided the use of phone.

Gopal Malpani from Asian International school has scored 81% in CBSE Class X Board exam 2020. He said, ” Initially, I was very anxious about the result plus it came so late, but then I was satisfied because it was as expected. Not more, not less.”
Anant Maheshwari from MPS International School has got 85% in CBSE Class 10 Exam 2020. He said, “My result, to be honest, was not to the level I expected as I have prepared very well. I will probably give it for a recheck. However, my family and friends are very happy with my result and that gives me satisfaction. My only strategy during the exams was not to take the stress and enjoy the exam time too as this time will not come again.”
